.....With all the frills upon it,in the Easter parade.....Memories so sweet.
Here's a couple fun easy ones for the little ones today....
We wouldn't think about going to Easter church service's in the 50s and early 60s without our bonnets on. Whether You were 5 or 85, churches were filled with Easter Bonnets on that one day out of the Year. In the 80s one Year on Easter morning I wore a plain straw white hat and I think I was one of a very small few, that was the last time I wore an "Easter Bonnet".Such fond memories I have of wearing Our bonnets to Church.... My Sisters, Aunts,Mother, both Grandmothers and even one of My Great Grandmas.Strutting around on the Church's lawn before and after service taking photos. That was one fun outcome of the whole family going to the same church.I loved it as a young girl.

Happy Memory Making! I loved those days of Easter bonnets and beautiful hats on Sundays, too. Blessings- love your photos! xo Diana
I not only remember Easter Bonnets - I bought one for myself for Easter this year. Easter was our official start of Spring - new coat, new dress, new shoes and an Easter Bonnet!
I used to get a new spring hat and a new spring coat every year. Happy times. My girlhood was special, but my grown-up girlhood is even more so! A most blessed and abundant day to you, dear Denise. And a blessed and abundant Resurrection Day ---- He is risen!
So bee-u-te--ful, we love to see Easter Bonnets, but I usually just wear by pretty bow, I have many different colors, right now I am wearing a pale blue one.
Happy Easter.
Heaps of Hugs
