Fritz Baumgarten-Fun in the Sun

Fritz Baumgarten (1883 – 1966) was a German illustrator

Hoping You all had a nice 4th of July.Mine are always filled with memories of 4ths long ago with My daughters.
I have been seeing a few other bloggers posting these enchanting  little pics. I have loved, of these fairyland Characters.I finally Googled them.Fritz must have been a Man after My own heart.



                                                                                                                                                                    In the last couple of days when I wasn't babysitting ,I was making this "Tussie Mussie" for SOC...Summer of Color's 4th challenge.Make anything Your little heart desires in the arts with colors of pink,apple green  and pop of dark green.

I like the butterflies and little animals in these paintings, and also the tussie mussie holder you made.

I love those illustrations, too! Classic, enduring, and special! I sometimes use children's book art in my own mixed media pieces.

The drawings of the pixies and fairies are lovely, I too like these sort of illustrations. They take me back to childhood days.
And your summer cone is very pretty.
