Being summer My patio was scheduled for a "power wash and painting" the Man said."All the potted plants and decor.will have to be removed.""Hhhhmmmmm" the Lady expressed. The Coffeeberry Cottage is tiny, with only the patio for plants,no real backyard. The cacti and succulent garden was brought in the house by Husband and He gladly cleaned them off, even dusted them. After moving things around and setting the dinning room table with the succulents I began to enjoy them even more than outside. For one they stay very clean in doors and I've began to baby them.I would suggest we leave them in the "cottage" but We can't put them on the floor because Pixie and Lola ( Paul's most beloved sweetheart doggies) will make a giant mess first time We leave them alone and anyway the pots aren't decorative, they're outdoor pots.
Sweet angel baby Lola (Mutt) and company for... The Princess Herself or actually She thinks The Queen Pixie.
Other than cleaning, rearranging and puttering around the house today, I also took My eight year old Granddaughter Reanna and Her Mom to Barbra's Tea House, for Her 8th birthday. I Love to do this :)
After Tea and My nap, I made My 3rd tussey cone out of the 6. This week the SOC challenge was- gray/lavender/with a touch of plum.Wonderful combo. of colors :) I had decided this week to decoupage the whole thing.........,,,,,,,,

Such a gorgeous cone that you made using this week's SOC colors! I love your creativity! And I really enjoyed seeing your wonderful photos and reading your post, too. (Bringing the garden indoors is awesome!)
And here is where the love is...in your coffee berry cottage. TAKE ME THERE NOW! And Denise my friend, I agree that this "strange" mode of communication has brought me the best of companions in this "strange" world we live in where sometimes in daily life, people don't give you the time of day. But blogging brings out the creative NEED to connect, and for that reason, I had to bring back the party. I am THRILLED that you want to take us to Ireland...TAKE ME NOW where the wild pony is like a house pet, and the green hills echo centuries of pain, joy, struggle and beauty. I am putting your name on my list now! BISOuS, Anita
I love these flower cones you're doing! Beautiful again this week!
Your cone is very pretty in the SoC colours. The photos are so lovely of a family gathering to celebrate a special day :D
xo
Such a delightful post! I love the tussie mussie --- a sweet way to use this week' colors.
Your grand-daughter is a cutie! Cute dogs, too.
I have lots of critters here on the farm. Come visit my country life blog and see them! I'm linking to that blog on my post here. Have a blessedly abundant and abundantly blessed day.
You have some great looking plants, and believe the princess is truly Queen Pixie - LOL! Tea rooms are always warm and beautiful places, and your precious girls fit in perfectly. Last, but not least, that tussey's has a beautiful Victorian feel to it. Thanks for leaving such a kind comment on my blog. Blessings!
Your tea looked delicious! What a great treat for you and your daughter and granddaughter. I liked your comment "after my nap"! Love a little nap in the afternoon. I don't know what SOC is ?? but your tussie mussie is really pretty. And love your little dogs too.
I just love seeing these pix. You look so good my friend and how sweet to see some of your family. How fun to enjoy tea with them all.
Thanks for the very fun comment you left on my blog! I never really thought of fun as you put it.
Love,
Linda
I have loved having houseplants. I started added them last year because they are such good air purifiers, well certain plants are, so I have been adding the ones that are. I'm soon going to add a closet plant to my bathroom, because they can live with almost no light, and my bathroom has no window. The tea party looks like it was so much fun. I can tell from the pictures your girls loved it. Looks like a lovely tea room too. Love the lavender tussie mussie, very pretty. Blessings my sweet friend
Hi Denise,
Your tussey cone is beautiful! I just love purple (and pink too). Lola looks so precious and I'm glad you were able to enjoy some tea with Reanna.
