Just One Dollar Please

Yes,I do prefer the Dollar Tree over any other dollar store,so I was happy to join in on..DebbieDoo's All things Dollar Tree Christmas  party challenge. I bought two glass candle sticks and two glass plates, used E-600 glue, let them dry a long time like overnight.

I bought 6 of those fragile breezy snow flake ornaments and spread 3 out on each plate for My snow.

I bought two of those dull kind of ugly looking cottages.Oh so sorry, but I think true.
Painted each one with two coats of  acrylic white paint.

Then painted both with one coat of pearl white paint. While they were wet I sprinkled the bushes and greenery  on door with green sheer glitter.Lastly I sprinkled one with a little pale pink glitter, the other lavender glitter.

Photos a little fuzzy due to (My last post) but I put the cottages on top of the "snow" covered stands and...... there ya go.... with My FUN  Dollar Tree challenge. Merry Christmas : ) May God continue to bless each of You-Denise.

Great idea to paint the cottages white! The colors are usually so sloppy and garish. I think I will have to try this.

Hi Auntie Denise,

Bee-u-tee-ful, you are so creative. I hope you are having a wonderful Saturday. Mom & I are working in our craft room, we are almost finished with setting things up.

I helped decorate for Christmas although it's not quite like we want but it will be back to normal next Christmas. (o:

I love this Denise! We definitely have similar tastes. I bought those same snowflakes and hung them from my chandelier. I'll post pictures tomorrow. Thank you for commenting. My blog is relatively new and I get such inspiration from so many talented people like yourself. Merry Christmas!

Oh Denise, now THIS is what I love to do and see others do during this time: HAVE FUN and get creative! I was having a discussion yesterday with my husband who is a Christian history professor; he is an historian and knows his stuff. We really don't know the exact date of Jesus's birth, but more than likely, he was not born in December. However, whether we know when his birth is or not, this is the TIME someone in history decided that we JOIN together to commemorate the birth of THE ONE that made it possible for us to become fully human again! And to give, to create, to laugh and have hope, all of the good things that happen when we join, this is Christmas to me. I love that you didn't have to spend a lot of money...I have been having a blast in my home just using ribbons and old ornaments!

How I thank you for coming over to leave me a comment. I do not recall you telling me about that ANGEL'S WING IN YOUR PRAYER! WOW! He is with us in the dark and the light. PRAISE HIM! And blessings of love to you, Anita

I love Dollar Tree too! So cute how you painted your cottages!

One of my favourite songs that makes me realise God’s always around. — Dancing with God, Verse 1: You dance over me While I am unaware, You sing all around But I never hear the sound, Chorus: Lord, I’m amazed by You Lord, I’m amazed by You Lord, I’m amazed by You How You love me Verse 2: You paint the moring sky With miracles in mind, My hope will always stand, For You hold me in Your hand.
