That time of Year-The Fair

State Fair 1945-A Grand ol' Fair-What a Fair it was.One of  My favorite movies and actors too.
LA county Fair 2013,not the State Fair, but Our Fair. Temps over 100 !
She was busy making a  sale of lemonade to Her Brother. Maddie and Jacob.
Boy!Were not as young as We use to be.You can sure tell that at the Fair.May have to be our last. What a life time of memories both Paul and I have at Our Fair.

DENISE!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU LOOK AMAZING! How do you feel my dear? You are just stunning and the hard work you have put into your new routine and goals is to be commended and you are so right....it takes a state fair or other event (like us, we went to a poetry reading for young people last night) to show you that you can't stay up as late as you once did when you were young!

Thank you for coming to visit. Anita

Isnt' that always the way? Our fair temps are always either in the 100's or cold and rainy. I think they only have ideal fair weather in the movies! I was a 4-H advisor for over 20 years and have been a fair superintendent in Home Ec for the past 8-10 years. This year I was asked to judge food and nutrition projects at our state fair! What I found is that judging at the state fair is not much fun. You are stuck in a building from 7:30-5 and then are so tired you just go back to the motel room. Next year I will attend as a visitor!

Hello Grandma Denise,

What a beautiful comment you left on my blog. It made me cry when you said grandma. Thank you so much. You are very welcome to me :)
I love movies with old fashion and stories. You are really blessed with a beautiful family.
Praying for you.

You were brave to tackle the 100+ temps. Love the picture of the lemonade stand.

Hi Denise - Appreciate you checking up on me. I still check my "blog roll" frequently and get messages that are left. I still try to keep up with everyone. I have had lots of issues in the past year with my family and would rather say nothing than share a depressing blog with the world. Hopefully I will snap out of it one of these days :) - And by the way - you look great. I really admire your commitment.

Awesome picture, you are such a great looking couple. Glad you enjoyed the fair.

One of my favourite songs that makes me realise God’s always around. — Dancing with God, Verse 1: You dance over me While I am unaware, You sing all around But I never hear the sound, Chorus: Lord, I’m amazed by You Lord, I’m amazed by You Lord, I’m amazed by You How You love me Verse 2: You paint the moring sky With miracles in mind, My hope will always stand, For You hold me in Your hand.
