One misty moisty morning when cloudy was the weather we took a walk down Government street before most stores were open.Rain drizzling down so gently.
Next morning while Paul slept,I hurried on down for breakfast alone.I was the only one up at The Empress it seemed :) I wanted to repeat some of the walk We took the morning before, only this time
meditating on the Lord and shopping ; ) I have wanted this type of tea cozy it seems forever-this would be the day.Late next evening leaving Canada, We found a lake that at that moment in time was enchanting. It was sparkling dark blue purple in the evening rain.I was so excited.
One of My best photos I've ever done, right out of the blue.Everyone loves where forest meets ocean.
until We got home. With this little one waiting for Me to babysit. This pretty souvenir tea cozy will remind Me of that morning alone meditating on the Lord and shopping ; ) Love Denise......Sharing with anything blue party..... found on top of My side board.

Sounds absolutely perfect. Looking forward to getting away and rejuvenating too.
So glad you're having such a wonderful time.
I have never been to B.C. it was nice to see some photos of it. And you are looking good. sandie
Hi Denise...Wow. What a wonderful photographic remembrance of your fabulous trip. Loved seeing both Part 1 and Part 2.
Congratulations on the 100 pound loss. You look so much younger (and happier) now! That is sooooo commendable.
Thanks so much for sharing. Susan
Wow, such a nice trip my dear friend, thanks for sharing.
Once again, lovely photo's Denise. I have enjoyed your trip to BC and back. Great pic of you at Big Sur as well.

Hi Denise. What lovely photos for us to look at and, as I'm never likely to be visiting those places, it was even more special for me. Yes, I loved the photo of where the forest meets the sea. Looks as if you had a super trip - happy for you! Beautiful little baby in there as well - what more could we ask for?!
FABULOUS DENISE! I remember Big Sur on our honeymoon; my first time ever up north after living in L.A. all my young life. The beach is my favorite destination, whether it's the rough coastlines of the Atlantic or the northwest or the Mediteranean or tropical, the water is a gift from the Lord.
How wonderful and magical to go out "on your own" and to meditate. THEN to find a sweet souvenir? How perfect is that!
Thank you dear friend for coming to visit my post. May light always surround you! Anita
Such a lovely trip. I love your tea cosy ...so pretty. Blessings dear friend
How fun for you Denise! I LOVE VICTORIA!!! I think Jim and I are going this summer to celebrate our 40th! We were going to go back east, but that first grand baby is due the end of July so....
Love,
Linda
Lovely trip and great tea cozy! Happy Tea Day!
Hi Denise,
that was a wondeful journey. To have such a breakfast alone can be very delightful, because you concentrate every sense to it. Thank you for sharing so many nice moments of your life.
Best greetings, Johanna
It sounds like a perfect getaway and your tea cosy will be a pretty reminder of the good time you had.
Hi Denise,
It sounds like you had a splendid trip. We have been out three times to BC and the last time was just at Christmastime. My son was going to take us to Victoria but alas, I had my little accident while at Whistler and that sort of spoiled the rest of the trip for me. Oh well...
Your tea cozy is very pretty and I'm so glad you got one to remind you of your trip. Thank you for sharing and coming to tea. Have a lovely week.
Blessings,
Sandi
Hi Denise: Everything looks so perfect. What a wonderful visit to Big Sur. Have a great week. Blessings, Martha
Wonderful trip and a beautiful lady in the photos! I'm so proud you lost the weight! We drove from Dallas, Tx to Eugene, Or last summer to visit my son! The mountains and coastline in Oregon plus the Columbia River valley is breath taking! Your trip was a fabulous adventure and the perfect reward! You and your husband with the cute pup certainly saw some beautiful scenery. We also stayed in similar hotels to The Empress while visiting Toronto and Ottawa a few years ago. The hotels were built during the time the trains were transporting passengers and they provided a place to stay in these gorgeous hotels while crossing Canada! Thanks for sharing the beautiful photos of you trip!
Pam
What a wonderful trip! I do love that tea cozy.
