Abbreviated version of the road trip up to Canada ; ).... Calif.,Oregon, Washington .Part 1

I was excited to take our road trip up the coast to Canada .Paul had promised Me Tea at the Fairmont Empress for loosing over 100 lbs.

There were beautiful quaint towns.

Lots of swift rivers to cross.

Quiet streams to enjoy.

Magnificent mountains and

forest for us to love.

Parks and flowers that grew bigger than at home in Rancho Cucamonga.

Tons of all kinds of bridges.

 Dark green everywhere.

Masterful churches.

Lots of Cottowood trees.

Statues......

Farms....

and these all the way up the roads.

Breathing deep the good air.

Making eachother laugh

all through the miles of long pretty roads, what  fun.

Unexpected stops.

The ocean,Paul's favorite.

The forest,My favorite.

Magical  places We found  together.

Our destination....at last, The Empress. Dinner in our room upon arrival.Tired but so happy.

Such a nice porter to take our photo.

Next day,Tea at the Empress.......

Yes, a lovely reward.

Next blog will be part two,Our road trip back down.More magical finds with Paul.

Yes, I agree Denise, you are looking wonderful! What awesome photos for us to look at today. So much variety. I just love the mountains, because we just don't see those over here. Loved the Churches as well, but what a wonderful trip you both had. That looks like a very scrummy Afternoon Tea you had there.
Thank you so much for popping over to my place, and I see we do have things in common indeed. I adore my little caravan, and have been up there in it today. So exciting. I think it will probably just stay in the garden, but the little ones will definitely be having sleepover s in it now that the Summer is here. Take care.

Hi Denise! What a dream of a trip you are enjoying here! Enough inspiration to decidedly write a book about! Lovely photos - trying not to be green with envy . . .

As to my homeschooling - yes - I taught classes for homeschool families in my home - I mentor homeschool families and am currently on sabbatical - some career fine tuning ahead and new opportunities as the Lord smooths the paths . . .

Joy!
Kathy

Denise, You look fabulous! So happy that this dream came true for you. You deserve it!

One of my favourite songs that makes me realise God’s always around. — Dancing with God, Verse 1: You dance over me While I am unaware, You sing all around But I never hear the sound, Chorus: Lord, I’m amazed by You Lord, I’m amazed by You Lord, I’m amazed by You How You love me Verse 2: You paint the moring sky With miracles in mind, My hope will always stand, For You hold me in Your hand.
