Unruly Paper Arts Challenge
I'm participating in an art challenge hosted by Unruly Paper Arts. Their button is at the top of my side bar,if you would like to visit them.The participants are asked to incorporate a Fleur-de- Lis into their art. The top 5 winners will be featured in the Sept. issue. Voting for the winners begins Jan. 26th. Readers will be doing the voting. The Fleur-de- Lis image stands in honor of France.The beginnings of it, many years ago stood for.... Those who worked,Those who fought and those who prayed. It literally means, Flower of the Lilly. This is my one tag,done up on both sides.This new year I am going full force into my arts and crafts It's so relaxing to me.I love going to my little art desk and losing myself into meditative art- I just made that up -meditative art,but it sure describes what I do. What a beautiful tag...my creative juices are starting to flow as well,but I'm in the mood for drawing..bought me some new colored pencils and a sketch journal....we'll see where it takes me. My drawings are more child like than not,but I have fun trying anyway :) Blessings dear friend.
