Summer of change,color and crafts

A couple of tags  I did  for friends in blog land.

This sweet package came from My June Tag swap partner Linda Adams at Random Creativity blog spot.So sweet of her. They represent flag day and summer.
If  My new Grandchild turns out to be a girl ,I'll fill this jar up with something for her.It was done with a bit of glue, glitter, pearls and ribbon.I'll add more -just wonder if it will be a girl. So far 7 grandsons and 2 Granddaughters : )

This is the first page of Color of  Summer art journal.
This is a  summer of change for Me, as a few of you know.Just about 3 more weeks tell I undergo bariatric surgery with the RNY(gastric bypass).I enjoy arts and crafts anyway so this summer I plan to rely on it for My main entertainment while I recover,at least until I can get into the pool again.I have joined Summer Of Color with Twinkle Twinkle--Over on My side bar--if any one wants to join in. This year once a week for 6 weeks we have art prompts of Ice cream flavors. This week is rainbow sherbet .The two pieces I did are above. The jar and the first page to a new summer art journal. A good start to My Summer Of Arts.

Oh how fun and so pretty. You do a great job.

You asked about joining several parties. Just link to as many as you would like. Find out which parties are covering your post and just link up, super easy and so fun. Hugs, Marty

I love the Colour of Summer journal page - the colours are so vibrant and I love the glittery effect. So summery.

I really like your entry for summer of colour. Makes me wish I was remotely crafty when it comes to paper crafting.

cute journal page... and the jar is lovely-- it will be perfect for your granddaughter! (you may need to rethink the theme for a grandson!) :-)

good luck with your surgery.

What a great idea to fill the jar up for baby. Something she'll be able to keep long after she's grown.

Good afternoon dear Denise! Don't you just love exchanging art with blog friends? Funny how not too many friends in the neighborhood feel the same way , but us BLOGSISTAS love to express ourselves!

Dearest, I wish you the best of recovery as you undergo your procedure in three weeks. We are thinking of you....Anita

Hi Denise thanks for the comment on my blog. I'll look forward to seeing some of your zentangles. I love these blog hops as I get to know so many arty crafty folk all over the world! Good luck with your operation. It'll be good to have your crafting to do while you recover.

great work this week!!!

One of my favourite songs that makes me realise God’s always around. — Dancing with God, Verse 1: You dance over me While I am unaware, You sing all around But I never hear the sound, Chorus: Lord, I’m amazed by You Lord, I’m amazed by You Lord, I’m amazed by You How You love me Verse 2: You paint the moring sky With miracles in mind, My hope will always stand, For You hold me in Your hand.
