Tea Time Tues. in honor of My three Granddaughters

Just the other day I saw these new dishes at Home Goods. What caught My eye was the purple bird. There were several Spring colors but the purple bird cups were gone so I mixed and matched.

When I want a dessert but have none, I always settle for toast and jam or honey, it always does the trick for Me.Tea,coffee or even cocoa needs nothing more than toast for Me.
The Tea was from Panera Bread, Honey Ginseng green Tea .....I love it, by Republic of Tea. I can actually say it's now one of My favorites,I can taste and smell the honey in it.So smooth :)

Here's to My try at teaching My 2 year old Granddaughter to have a tea party.

Well it didn't go exactly as I had planned but We both had fun.All the guest were in a circle with cups ect...when I started,Maddie had other plans I suppose.

Princess Sofia getting a bottle. I'm not giving up on Maddie though, by the time I'm done teaching Her she'll be ready to go out with Grammie like Her cousin Reanna has.

This is Brooke 23 today-Happy Birthday Brooke- and I use to play Tea Time with Her too but I have yet to take Her out for a date to Tea. A big hope of Mine.
Brooke, You can Ord. lemonade or punch if  You rather.   (wink)   ; )

Please join Us for Tea Time Tues ,You can find the hop on My right side bar.Wishing You all a blessed Easter. Hugs to all- Denise

Hello Denise,
What fun you have to look forward to tea times with your little one! When my little 3 year old granddaughter was home for her first visit to PEI last summer, I had hoped to have a tea party with her but we were all too busy. Next time, for sure. The table all set for tea looks delightful! Thank you for joining me for Tea Time and a Happy Easter to you and all your loved ones!

Tea time with the kids ... a little girl is never to young to learn about teatime! ;) I'm a tea and toast (with jam) desert girl, too! Happy Tea Day and Happy Easter!

Gotta love Home Goods. They have the cutest dishes. I would have gravitated towards the purple (my fave colour) bird too! Happy Easter!

Hi Denise. There's always a solution and you being able to mix and match your cups and plates was a good one.
Lovely photos of the family and I'll bet it won't be too long before the little one catches on to what tea parties are all about.

Tea and buttered toast is the ultimate comfort food, I think. Never too early to start with tea parties, she will have wonderful memories. And your tea out looks so wonderful. Great family pictures.
Have a blessed Easter.

Hi, Denise! Thanks so much for your sweet comments on my blog; you are a blessing to me.

Here are two sites to help you in your miniatures:

(Enter the words "fairy garden" in the search box. Cute stuff there.)

(My source for all purchased miniatures. A treasure trove! Be sure to send for their print catalogue. Oh, you'll love it.)

I love this tea time post. I've had so many tea parties With my grands. I still have a couple of young granddaughters that I hope to have some tea time with before they grow to big for such things. One of them, my sweet Vivian lives far away, and I don't know that I'll be seeing her much :( I would love to have time to have tea with you my friend. If not there, the next best thing is visiting your blogspot for tea ;) Blessings

One of my favourite songs that makes me realise God’s always around. — Dancing with God, Verse 1: You dance over me While I am unaware, You sing all around But I never hear the sound, Chorus: Lord, I’m amazed by You Lord, I’m amazed by You Lord, I’m amazed by You How You love me Verse 2: You paint the moring sky With miracles in mind, My hope will always stand, For You hold me in Your hand.
