A blessed 2015 for one and all.

I need a little up lift. Christmas and right after always puts Me on edge to be real honest.I get so excited with shopping and decorating and thinking about worshipping Jesus, then the day arrives and my daughters just seem to have trouble really enjoying each other's company. I pray and pray about the day, esp. for health and My daughters being nice to each other for just maybe 5 to 6 hours is all I ask for.My Dad told Me once that His Grandmother use to tell Her adult Children and maybe  Her adult Grandchildren "Don't grieve My spirit." Sometimes I would love to say that to them but, well, I don't know I suppose I don't want to rock the boat.
My Loves.......little darlings. They can laugh so hard together sometimes and boy that's one of My greatest joys in life to witness.

I'll  ring in the New Year with prayer and meekness, knowing what ever He allows into My life is for My good.Meekness is a continuing process of learning and striving for each and every day. This I hope, was not a downer of a post. I just need sometimes to be true to myself. Love  Denise  A BLESSED  NEW YEAR FOR ONE AND ALL.

Sometimes we expect our holidays to be as perfect as a tv movie or a coffee commercial. I hope you did enjoy some time with your family this season. it is a let down once it is over. Happy New Year!

I don't think your alone in feeling holiday stress- we're all bombarded with pressure for perfection on this day but we can celebrate life the other 364 days too :)

Dear, dear Denise. I so understand.

I have no children, and my family was always extremely joyous. But I have seen and felt gregarious spirits during the holidays from other sides of family members, and that DOES dampen the holiday. There is no pat answer, but just the faith it takes to create something outlasting. You have it in you, and you probably already know it.

One of the things my mother did well was be silent. But wow, did she surprise everyone who thought she was simple. NO WAY. Her silence was wisdom. You have it. Keep it up. The girls will learn one day. They will.

Thank you dear one for coming to visit. Looking forward to more magic in the cottage way, in 2015. Anita

God bless you my friend. I know so much of what you are saying here. My sons were very cross with one another yesterday, and boy did it ever grieve my spirit. I went to bed as it literally made me sick. Thank the good Lord, they made up before the sun set. My surgery is going to be Jan the 26th....please pray for me as you know just what I'm facing. Blessings oxox

One of my favourite songs that makes me realise God’s always around. — Dancing with God, Verse 1: You dance over me While I am unaware, You sing all around But I never hear the sound, Chorus: Lord, I’m amazed by You Lord, I’m amazed by You Lord, I’m amazed by You How You love me Verse 2: You paint the moring sky With miracles in mind, My hope will always stand, For You hold me in Your hand.
