Art/Computer/Library-A special room to Me.

I have over the years developed a love for  arts and crafts.

After the last of My four daughters married this hobby grew to be a big part of My life.

I've been building up My supplies little by little.

My first craft was decoupaging

and I still use bottles by the ton.For My decoupage glue and paint I have always used an extra large plastic ice cream lid to pour them on.Does anyone else use these? Why I mention these lids is only to say,I love pealing the glue off of them-great simple fun .
All the Grandchildren are on the wall, along with a magical mirror that is a portal to other worlds ;  ) and a left over autographed photo of a famous cowboy(Crash Corrigan) of the 1940s,when this room was My husband's office.

I just can't get rid of  the several iddy biddy friends that make Me smile in this library cabinet.

Under this purple cloth is My paper file. This is the only secret place underneath I seem to let get messy.
The library and ....

My all time fave spot in My home :)

Plants will be going back outside as soon as My patio is finished being painted.

Thank You for visiting My special little comfy spot where I spend so much wonderful time.Partying with.... Where Bloggers Create Party, found at the top of My sidebar.

I enjoyed this little tour! Your studio is wonderful; it's special when we surround ourselves with the things we love!

My creative space is one of the unused bedrooms. The window looks out on one of the meadows and a fringe of the woods. When we have lots of rain, I can hear the creek rushing just beyond the trees.

I was going to try and participate in this party, but no time. But this way I can get inspiration from others before I get going on mine. I have to get one of those magic mirrors!! Love to see all your pots and jars of crafty stuff, and yes, the best place to be is in a nice, cozy reading chair! Looks like you have everything you need, nice and handy for when inspiration strikes.

What a wonderful room!! Your craft/office space is so much more organized than mine!!! I would be afraid to post pictures. Hoarders might be at the door!

Hi Denise,

I enjoyed taking a peek at your art room. It is amazing how much stuff we can acquire over time. I try to hide it from my dear hubby ... LOL! We all need a place to relax and have some "me" time.

A magical mirror, intriguing. I too find it hard to let go of the little things that make me smile. I guess it's okay to have them as long as wee keep them "under control" and not allow them to take over. I use the decoupage right out of the bottle as i don't like to waste too much of it and I always seem to our out more than I need. I enjoyed my visit today.

You have a cozy place to create in, fun to see your work in progress (all the gluing)... I also use lids for when I work and containers for cleaning brushes in. Thank you for the tour!

One of my favourite songs that makes me realise God’s always around. — Dancing with God, Verse 1: You dance over me While I am unaware, You sing all around But I never hear the sound, Chorus: Lord, I’m amazed by You Lord, I’m amazed by You Lord, I’m amazed by You How You love me Verse 2: You paint the moring sky With miracles in mind, My hope will always stand, For You hold me in Your hand.
