While Experimenting with RVing to see if We like it.I came across a marvelous discovery. The camping chair drink holder's are truly the best, most secure, easy, fast, place for Your skein of yarn.Wow! It unraveled beautifully.Maybe We should all bring Our picnic chairs in the house to crochet.
My lap-the whole 3 long days of rain. The only days of rain in So.Ca. and We go camping in them. The rest of the month was a time of drought.
To be comfy I had Paul bring in the camp chair. It's like living like a hoarder, that's how I felt.I decided if We ever bought an RV it would have to be a large fancy one.We most likely have scratched it off Our list.It was no cottage. If We ever have enough money that I could make a cottage out of it ....that would be a different story. One more dream off My list-I'm glad We did it though.Well,We always make the best out of Our situations.I can say it was very romantic and We laughed the whole 3 days.

I love "living like a hoarder"! LOL I am not a camper. I would watch my neighbor clean and stock the camper all week and then come home and un-stock and clean the camper. I have enough house to clean; I don't want a small one to clean on my vacation. But you tried it - that is the fun part! You are both good sports.
Hi Auntie Denise,
Oh my mohair, 3 days being that close with Mom would be a disaster FOR US, she would make us all crazy. Now put her in one of those rock star motor homes and she may relax and even enjoy herself. She is 100% a homebody and that is where she is the happiest and that makes us happy too. You know the saying "if mama is happy..........."

Yeah i don't 'think RVing is for me either.... Now i wouldn't mind having an RV for trips and such and save on the hotel room etc... BUT i don't think i would want an RV to be my HOME. Some people sell their home and just live out of the RV... i think i would climb the walls and get claustrophobic.....
I think renting one and trying it out was a great idea! At least you both agree that its not for you. Hugs! deb
We keep our caravan parked at a camp about 3 hours drive away. We find that about week at a time is quite enough and then we head back home. It does rather limit our trips away to where it is parked but it is central to several other nice spots, just an hour or so to get to. And we can go elsewhere if we wish. it's nice to know we have somewhere to get away to if we want.
I'm glad you enjoyed your few days away even if you decided it's not the life for you.
Diana
Thanks for sharing your adventure, love you.
Denise,
Thanks so much for stopping by!! I thought of RVing when we retire but then I realized that the care and maintenance of it would definitely not be Joe's thing so that tabled that idea!!
Hugs,
Debbie
Hi Denise, aren't you cute with your crochet in hand. Love knowing the chair makes a great spot to crochet and stuff the drink holder with yarn. I may have to bring my chair in the family room.
Sounds like a fun time for you and your guy RVing. Great experiment to decide if you like it or not.
Have a blessed week and happy crocheting. What are you creating with that pretty yarn?
Hugs
It sounds you had fun adventure and romantic indeed! I dont really know about RVing anyway hehe.
May God bless you Mrs. Denise :)
Oh, Lord! I watched one of those hoarder shows last night and just broke my heart! Anyway, love your crochet and sorry about the rain on your camping trip. We have a teeny little RV and we love it. It is very compact but we love it. Thanks for popping in to see my little cow creamers.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia;)
I am tired of living like a hoarder so I have been slowly selling off those things that have collected duct for too long. Subconsciously I think I'm making room for more yarn, cross stitching stash and new stained glass making stash. LOL I like taking little day trips. Exploring the surround towns around me. I haven't moved up into camper traveling yet.
You seemed to have succeeded in getting comfortable as you could while it rained and that is what matters. XD
The laughter....that's what makes the memory. The RV, even the cottage...it's all empty without the love. Oh Denise, how rich you are for having a loving husband (like I do!) with whom you can experiment and experience all these things. Thank you for coming to visit and it will be a very long time before I can ever quit my day job for my dream job although my teaching job NOW is a dream for me. I teach only French now which is really what I wanted to do as opposed to what I did before (teaching in elementary, in French).
Thank you for your well wishes and happy day! Anita
LOL, love that you use your chair cup holder for your yarn. Sorry for you it rained so much. My DH lives in an RV at work. It is bigger with slide outs. I like going to visit, less space = less mess. Well, sort of. There are some pretty fabulous RV's out there. Thanks so much for popping by with kind comments. Keep smiling and creating.
