Lets have our coffee and tea outdoors with the birds. That's what I've been doing since I was a young girl.
Nothing like going outside around 5:30 am sitting in a favorite spot out in the back yard with a hot drink, a Bible, poetry, and a journal or even with nothing in hand.I close My eyes each time and
Here's where a sit lately.Looking up to the sky, trees and My mountain.Thanking The King with the birds, then with eyes closed I sit silently and listen to their song that's also within Me.
She is one of My miracles, such a charmer. So sweetly He has given to Me. Love Denise Linking up with Beverly's Pink Sat. and Tea with Sandi,at Tea Time Tues. her blog you can also find on My sidebar.

I was listening to a bird earlier today - just the happiest melody - probably a mockingbird b/c it kept changing tunes. The windows are open (it's sooo nice here today) and there were birds in the background as well. What a blessing. I was pondering that blessing for a while and I think I always do when I hear the birds.
Enjoyed your post very much - oh yes, I was thinking the other day we simply have to get our patio covered so I can sit outside in the early morning. Now, I think I really have to get a cover over it!
Happy Pink Saturday!

I enjoy being outdoors and listening to the birds sing, but not at 5:30 in the morning. I am not a morning person.
I too love the birds song....such a gift. I am not seeing your post listing for some reason, along with some other bloggers as well. I can't see Jackie's either....O me! What to do? Blessings
Precious post.

I came over from Shortybear's to say hi and I see we share some likes including shimmer, sparkle and shine, and following Jesus. Glad to meet you.
I love to hear the dawn chorus as well, as you say the birds are serenading the King. Unfortunately I don't hear it often these days.
Lovely photo's of the kids.
Have a wonderful week.

Hello Denise,
I love listening to the birds but not at 5:30 in the morning. I wish I could but nope, not an early riser. The songbirds have just arrived back here and I'm thrilled to have them here! I'm thankful the King shares the birdsong with us. One of His many blessings. Thank you for coming to tea and have a beautiful day.
Blessings,
Sandi
What lovely thoughts. The sound of the birds, the quiet of the time. Just wonderful.
We also love to sit out on our deck and hear the birds. Lovely posting!
The sounds of birds is so delightful. When we would walk through the woods, my son would always say, "you need to sit and listen and then you would hear the birds and see them".
My grand daughter was signing the other day when we were outside - Chick a dee dee dee. It was so cute.
I am your newest GFC.
Have a wonderful week,
Bev

Hi Denise,
when the birds start singing spring is not far away. So I love when they do. Thank you for this nice tea time.
best greetings, Johanna
Storms are comin' to Oklahoma today so the birds are out busy with their young and tending to their nests. I love to hear them SING!
I also LOVE it when you visit me. You can redo that shade of your momma's. They take time, but sooo worth the effort.
Love to you girly~
