We ran from San Bernadino Countie's heat wave the last few days.In Rancho Cucamonga it was in the 100s.So off we went to Ventura beaches.Breezy,beautiful and Autumn cool :) I don't usually post our getaways,Paul and I go so often on two day trips.This one I wanted to share.I don't know why, maybe because of the Autumn breeze and My weight loss.
When we go to the ocean,I love sitting on the balcony thinking about God and His mighty power and great works.In the morning He shows Me great and mighty wonders and gifts to Me,like dolphins in play and hunting. 
So relaxing and He won't leave His babies at home.He takes them where ever He can.
Who wears makeup on vacation?Not Me.

Now I'm getting so brave.(My progression in My bariatric weight loss-OUCH-)Right after this shot We got up to walk to the end of the pier,My hat blew off without me knowing.Walking back from the end,I noticed a homeless man with My hat on.Of course, I hope He's enjoying it right now.
In a few Months I hope you won't recognize Me. Thank you Lord for a wonderful get away.....the breeze and dolphins and all. Love Denise

Oh sweet Denise....your getaway is an excursion so sweet, well-deserved and somewhere I WOULD LOVE TO GO! I had wanted my husband to take me to Carmel this summer, our honeymoon spot from 30 years ago. But with my resignation from full-time teaching, we had to change our plans!
The sea, its creatures and the breeze, all from God's work and us? All the more....you are in His hands of course, and your grateful heart is the most precious of all. YOU LOOK GREAT! It is so wonderful to have a weekend getaway - the beach is such a relaxing place! I am also struck by the beauty and majesty of creation - makes me wonder and praise God. I congratulate you on your weight loss - working on that myself - long, slow road - but definitely worth it!
