I've been wanting an indoor chandelier with real candles.I'm taking you shopping with Me.I'm open to all ideas, home made-simple or store bought-fancy.So many choices. Then I'll take you out to lunch. Do any of you remember years ago, like in the 50s, fancy stores like bullocks had nice restaurants in them? One of My favorite memories was getting dressed up and My young Aunt would take Me to the huge downtown bullocks.Going up the fancy elevators with the elevator man.Afterward to the bullocks restaurant.what a wonderful day that would be-lets do it again.
Ready to go to lunch in 1950s bullocks? :)

Well Denise you brought back some super memories for me, not of Bullocks which I have never been in, but Eaton's department store in downtown Montreal where I grew up! I loved the elevators in the store with the lovely ladies in their navy blue suits and white gloves...wow...even the ride in the elevator was elegant! And the Dining area!!!! My mom and I always went for refreshments at some point in the trip.
Young people just don't know what they are missing.....
Let's go Denise!!!

Hi Denise, I love the balck chandeliers, and love that they have used two! And I never went to the Bullocks in LA but I have been to the restaurant at the Bullocks in San Diego. I miss them. Happy Pink Saturday. ~Marti

My PINK please come and see when you have time. Have a safe and happy weekend!
I am now your follower.
Those are such wonderful chandeliers. I'd love to have one over the bathtub in the master bedroom :) It would be the height of luxury! I remember the great old department stores: for me it was Wanamaker's in Philadelphia. There was a huge pipe organ in the main lobby, and there would be music for the shoppers. There was also a fancy restaurant on the top floor. It sure was better than today's malls! - Terri
I love all the chandeiers...the thought to me is so romantic!! thanks for the fun pics!
