The swallow twitters in delight.
The lonely vine sheds joyous tears
Of interwoven dew and light.
Spring weaves a gown of green to clad
The mountain height and wide-spread field.
O when wilt thou, my native land,
In all thy glory stand revealed?"

Hi Denise!
Good for you for getting yourself a piece of jewelry with Mary on it. I was born and raised Catholic, married Presbyterian, but just consider myself, "Christian." I still like rosaries and statues and icons and crucifixes. They're often beautiful and having something tangible helps make me feel alittle closer, makes it all feel more real. Mary's the Mother of Jesus. Sure, she deserves some respect too! I have no problem giving her this, while still knowing that the Trinity is most important.
Let us all shout it out:
HE LIVES!!!!!! And so do we and so we shall because all that dies will live again!
Thank you dearest for your kind words and visit. Onward now.....Anita
OH! AND A HORSE???? ABSOLUTELY. My favorite creature on the planet! And in a gown? Another great idea!
Lovely post Denise! Thank you for visiting and have a Happy Easter.

Hi Denise,
Yes! It WAS fun repainting the angel figurines. I think they look better and it gave me so much confidence doing something I was afraid to do. I've got some old nativities I plan on painting. I bet those carolers would look gorgeous if you repainted them. Sometimes, chic is better than shabby!
