Dreaming of Spring

Even though it rained in So Calif.all day yesterday and early this morning,I know spring will be in the air any day now. To  encourage and welcome warmer weather,I'm  painting spring.

I've been painting two years now. What a way to enjoy My retirement. I 've  noticed I enjoy doing landscapes  most. I like painting places I'd like to be.I can step right into landscapes and dream.Dream of little hobbits, faeries and gnomes or whatever living in My landscapes. They're the best adventures.

Your work definitely has a fantasy quality, but everything still looks like a real place. Nice work, especially on the third piece.

I can see fairies in your painting you know... you have to be quick to look again as they seemed anxious to be off and about their fairy business!

Hi Denise. How wonderful that you can relax by painting such lovely paintings. Such wonderful colours! I envy you. It's so good to know that spring will soon be with us, although it's been quite chilly again here this past week. Oh for some lovely warmth!

One of my favourite songs that makes me realise God’s always around. — Dancing with God, Verse 1: You dance over me While I am unaware, You sing all around But I never hear the sound, Chorus: Lord, I’m amazed by You Lord, I’m amazed by You Lord, I’m amazed by You How You love me Verse 2: You paint the moring sky With miracles in mind, My hope will always stand, For You hold me in Your hand.
