Update on Gastric Bypass Surgery and just plain fun.

I'm still waiting to hear from the Doctor's office.Everything is done, except a consult with a nutritionist and a psych. consult.Boy Oh Boy,they make you jump through hoops as the saying goes .Every test and consult under the sun they make you have for the gastric bypass This is Kaiser by the way.I suppose if they pay for it one way they make you pay for it in another way.I'm hoping to have it before summer.So.....while I'm waiting......
I'm doing a lot of swimming day and night, sometimes twice a day even in the cold.

You see I have a lot to live for,so I want to be strong for surgery.

Besides swimming and babysitting,My crafts and blogging and FB and hubby keep me busy :)
Here's how my moss basket is coming. Not done yet.Needs more work.
Was dusting my bookshelf so decided to show more of my long time friends.....
In  my Coffeeberry Cottage...
This Was My Grannies-very old I think-a capodemonte.
Judith Tetley from Creative Sudio's sent Me this for Tee's swap at The Altered Paper. You can find them both on my blog list at the bottom of my blog. It's such a gorgeous tag for Feb.I love it-thanks again Judith.

Hi Auntie Denise,

Now wait a darn teddy bear mohair minute here - You are having an operation? I just met you so I don't know much about you but now I am real worried. My little bear heart is in knots - honest. Are you okay? Do I need to come for a visit and take care of you?

I love your fairy centerpiece, I never saw anything so "bee-u-tee-ful" in my whole life, and I've been around since November 1991. Please show us more....

Heaps of Hugs

Hi Denise!

So glad you popped by my Blog for a visit! Good luck on your journey. I did really well with mine and I am now 5 pounds below my goal weight. I have lost 150 pounds and feel wonderful! I will keep my fingers crossed that you will get your surgery date soon!

Love,
LuLu~*xoxo

You have so much fun with life, I think your surgery will go well and you'll feel even better. If you have it before summer you'll be fit as a fiddle for all the end of summer, fall, & Christmas festivities and decorating projects to come. Plus all the fun with your beautiful grandchildren

Love the moss centerpiece !

Hi Denise,
God Bless you, my dear. You have a wonderful attitude, and yes, much to live for. I have just lost 20 lbs and have at least that much to go, so I understand the struggle.
hugs & JOY,
Kimberly

Denise hello!

That moss basket is very special indeed. I just love it!

You do have lots to live for, I'll keep you in my prayers for sure. I know it is a journey and I pray the results bring good health and happiness.

One of my favourite songs that makes me realise God’s always around. — Dancing with God, Verse 1: You dance over me While I am unaware, You sing all around But I never hear the sound, Chorus: Lord, I’m amazed by You Lord, I’m amazed by You Lord, I’m amazed by You How You love me Verse 2: You paint the moring sky With miracles in mind, My hope will always stand, For You hold me in Your hand.
