The Season Begins!

My holidays now,are filled with my family that God planned for me even as a child.I'm so happy and excited to greet these holidays now as the matriarch of this family.
With the  magic that  is in the air at this time of year, I still  feel like a child when I go to the stores and see all the beauty and playfulness. It reminds me of wonderful times as a child.

Movies that we all watched  as children with our parents....I miss those years in my parents living room with my siblings by my side.

These scenes are embedded in my mind as part of my childhood.

Winter Wonder World.....Shimmering with beauty and excitement, something we can't grasp it's so wonderful beyond words. That is when I remember....Oh yes, all this magic, It's Christ...it's Christ that I  feel in the air.Someday I will  be where there is more beauty than we can now imagine,Christians should take back the word magical-that word is ours to enjoy and to  teach now our Grandchildren just how magical heaven will be.

Hi Denise. Lovely post, and isn't it wonderful to be a grandma?! This is a very special time of the year, and I agree with you, so magical. I love those old Christmas movies, especially the black and white ones! Blessings to you.

Lovely post Denise! Happy family memories are so special at this time of year and your post reminded me of my personal favorite Shirley Temple in "Heidi". I still get tears in my eyes when her grandfather runs through the streets calling her name!
Have a wonderful and blessed week Denise!

Hi Denise! Thanks for stopping by!

Sometimes it's so hard to picture eternity, the beauty, everyone happy, no worries, no evil....I just can't truly imagine, but am so hoping we're right!!

A Beautiful Post Denise! Yes, Magical is a great Word to describe what I imagine Heaven to be and look forward to spending Eternity in.

Thank you for your heartfelt response to my Post today and for Prayer. We've been dealing with some heavy issues concerning health and finances so it has been disheartening at times. However, old age is a privilege not afforded to many and so every day I am thankful for this Season on this side of Time and Eternity regardless of whatever challenges it presents. Without the test there is no Testimony... I'm actually Thankful that Christmas is simplified this year for us because it has caused quiet reflection on the simple things that can often be taken for granted or overlooked during times when there aren't trials. Challenges might not feel good, but there can be a silver lining to any cloud if you meditate upon what to be thankful for during the storms of life.

Blessings from the Arizona Desert... Dawn... The Bohemian

Oh dearest friend and sister in Christ, thank you for coming to my post and GETTING IT!!!! WOOO are we in for a big show, aren't we?

LOVE TO YOU! Anita

One of my favourite songs that makes me realise God’s always around. — Dancing with God, Verse 1: You dance over me While I am unaware, You sing all around But I never hear the sound, Chorus: Lord, I’m amazed by You Lord, I’m amazed by You Lord, I’m amazed by You How You love me Verse 2: You paint the moring sky With miracles in mind, My hope will always stand, For You hold me in Your hand.
