Oh Denise...I just can't tell you how long I've wanted this book. I keep putting it off...because I have such a long list of "unfinished" projects...that I hesitate to start working in felt! But, if it's meant to be...well, you can't fight fate! Ha!

OH DENISE! COUNT ME IN, PLEASE! I love felting and I know I can do it!!!

Dearest, thank you for visiting and your comment was so darling, and I took it to heart. You know, since I went back to college at the age of 34, I knew that writing was something I had a passion for. It wasn't until last summer that I started writing in a more poetic style and all of my secret desires to WRITE have been blooming more and more. My next step is to take my art and writing and work hard towards making that my WORK. I am leaving it in God's hands, but I feel that I need to take very necessary but risky step towards making it happen....changing jobs. In this economy, I am not sure if that is wise, but your comment made me swoon in hopes of not exactly being (((famous))) shhhhh....but being able to make a living...you are so sweet!!!

COUTN ME IN! Anita

Thank you for the reminder about the giveaway. I thought I had left a comment previously. I would love this book. Just recently I had been stitching with felt. I have been making simple ornaments. Stitching on felt is so nice, no tugging at the needle, it stitches like butter!

I know the giveaway is over, but this book reminds me of Mother Earth and her Children --- it's a German folktale recently illustrated using a beautiful story quilt all done by hand...great storybook for children with a gorgeous quilt I think you'd appreciate.

One of my favourite songs that makes me realise God’s always around. — Dancing with God, Verse 1: You dance over me While I am unaware, You sing all around But I never hear the sound, Chorus: Lord, I’m amazed by You Lord, I’m amazed by You Lord, I’m amazed by You How You love me Verse 2: You paint the moring sky With miracles in mind, My hope will always stand, For You hold me in Your hand.
