I'm moving on already!

I already wished everyone  a Happy Halloween.I know, Halloween  is still a few days away  and yes I'll visit my Grandchildren .It will be just like when my kids were little. We will laugh, get in costumes, have chili and donuts ect..the moon will be bright, my girls will walk the kids around the neighborhood; while we wait eating our donuts and one of the teenagers will pass the candy out.......But I am ready to move on.Let me say Happy Thanksgiving ! Ever since I was a young Mother I have gotten so excited starting in the middle of Sept.,when the four girls would go back to school.Oh the quiet time, chill in the air and all my home cooking began.Soon it was Halloween then Thanksgiving  with such a thankful heart to my Lord. Family and the feast. You know where I'm going ?Yes of course,I'm  getting ready for Christmas.I have gifts to buy, new decor for the house to think about. What colors this year, what food this year, what arts and crafts....I'll hold myself back from talking about it for your sake.I'm getting very busy indeed  heehee.

I am hand making most of my gifts this year...not spending much money...got plenty of decorations already!Christmas is always the most special time of the year for me...if there wasn't a present,a tree or a big spread on the table...it would still be a very Merry Christmas at my house.....but,it is fun and so exciting decorating and seeing all the Christmas cheer in everyone's heart....I am so looking forward to Christmas....Blessings

Yep...I like the focus of Thanksgiving better...brings us back to what should be the everyday focus of our lives. And then the best season of all! Thanks for the post!

Oh Denise...just a lovely photo. You are in such a great mood and so cheerful and encouraging.
I just fee so badly about the TP thing...not sure what the heck happened, but I am really sad and confused. Thank you for remaining my friend. I so enjoy your posts and would be just so sad to lose you.
I love the fall/winter holidays too.
Love, Lady Linda

Denise, I am so glad you stopped in, I feel like I have not been here forever! We do have to get ready for Christmas, there has been years that I had everything bought by now...Yikkes! My Mom has moved to Orlando full time, so it has taken a lot of my extra time, but I love it

Take care Carol

Hi Denise, thanks for stopping by. I love Fall, too. I really think that all moms (no matter what age) should get the first day of school off - just to start planning! I can't wait for Thanksgiving, either. I like the foods and the fellowship! Thanks for stopping my Halloween Dinner.

It seems like everyone is thinking of Christmas early this year! For those of us that make things and do crafts...the time to do them is NOW! I can't wait to hear more about what you're doing! ♥

Denise,

You are so right!! From September on until about the end of Feb. , is just a magical time of year for me. It has always been my favorite time. I am not a lover of heat and i do much better physically in colder weather so This is my time of year!!

I am having a Fall gathering of friends tomorrow, just 3 other couples and of course, my kids. BUT there will be snow on the ground as we are predicted to get about 3-10 inches of snow!!!
Heavens!! In October!! That is even early for us!!

Sounds like you will have a great holiday filled with fun and family!! Good for you!!

Take care and thanks so much for your visit!!

Hugs,
Debbie

I love your blog. How I wish I were close enough to sit in your enchanted place at Coffeeberry Cottage. . . . as you can see I'm looking for my own cottage. Thank you for visiting, Denise. Your blog is amazing. Blessings, Janet PPF

One of my favourite songs that makes me realise God’s always around. — Dancing with God, Verse 1: You dance over me While I am unaware, You sing all around But I never hear the sound, Chorus: Lord, I’m amazed by You Lord, I’m amazed by You Lord, I’m amazed by You How You love me Verse 2: You paint the moring sky With miracles in mind, My hope will always stand, For You hold me in Your hand.
