Orange-color of summer? No,really color of fall to me.

My first try-and so much fun to follow
A year ago now my husband and I decided it would be fun taking painting classes together. He is a natural born artist.I was amazed 34 years ago when we were newlyweds that He could draw so well.Last year was my first try at any art, except for my constant doodling. This painting was my first in class.I found it was so relaxing and fun.The only time I like Orange is in the fall, with fall trees.Oh yes, my bonus quote for Twinkle Twinkle is:"Youth fades;love droops;the leaves of friendship fall;a Mother's secret hope out lives them all." by-Washington Irvine. A little sad ,but only SOMTIMES true.

Goodness me Denise, that was a very good first painting!! Well done you. I have always wanted to do water colours. I have all the paints, books and an easel, but just have never got round to it. There really is no excuse. I have looked out for watercolour classes for beginners in my area, but never seem to find anything!

Hi Denise, I think you did a beautiful job for the first time!
Fall is my favorite time of year.
I'm going to try my hand at a fall painting shortly.
Have a nice day!

Hi Denise,
I know just what you mean about having no cares while you paint. I have that experience too, it's very healthy.(I can't wait to paint at my new house, there was an artist there who built a STUDIO... with SKYLIGHTS...I am so thrilled)!

(The Mousiekins do all their activities at my house :-D )

Blessings and HUGS Linnie

Hi Denise, so nice to meet you! I have enjoyed looking back thru your posts and getting to know you. I think we have a lot in common. I too, love tea, coffee, dishes, I collect teapots and anything magical and whimsical, hobbits, gnomes, fairies, mermaids.
Your Fall trees are very beautiful, I love the colors in the leaves. I never would've suspected it to be your first, you have a natural gift. Looking forward to Fall and cooler weather and your picture looks soothing, wish I could jump in and take a walk.
Have a blessed week.

I love this painting. I would love to take a watercolor class, but with little ones at home I can't really manage that right now. I think that you did a great job.

Good morning sweet Denise!

My parents took oil painting classes together late in life and it was such a healing process for my mom especially, who had never really been out in society. Both of them had hidden talents, and though it was too late, at least they tried and had fun. Yes, the colors here are indicative of the approaching season that comes much too fast for me, a TEACHER! I have had a wonderful summer. THANK YOU FOR YOUR KIND WORDS LAST NIGHT! Anita

One of my favourite songs that makes me realise God’s always around. — Dancing with God, Verse 1: You dance over me While I am unaware, You sing all around But I never hear the sound, Chorus: Lord, I’m amazed by You Lord, I’m amazed by You Lord, I’m amazed by You How You love me Verse 2: You paint the moring sky With miracles in mind, My hope will always stand, For You hold me in Your hand.
