Christmas without Mom

Twelve years ago my Mom died in Aug.,that  first Christmas season I was sick of  heart and in pain.One day alone in the house I was crying out to God concerning my Mommy,half praying half wailing.My eyes and hands lifted upwards.Somehow with out me knowing ,it turned into worship.There where my eyes landed  was one huge white wing.The feathers are hard to describe,large,layered and very white.I began crying with joy stunned that God did that for me.When it was gone I felt  at peace . In my spirit I heard Christ say"under my wings you shall take refuge".If this is your first christmas without a dear loved one.God cares and knows your pain.Your memories will stay the pain will fade. Pinks,lavenders,husbands

I have a concern and a question:Do you think our husbands are put off by our lavenders and pinks? when I was young I did alot of  neutrals that were fine with him.Boy I've changed,my Christmas tree this year is very girly .Ouch for him? Please don't say ask him.The tree is up,small because we down sized,but I love it.Here we go...Stating now -MERRY CHRISTMAS

Happy Thanksgiving and God bless us all.Paul and I will have breakfast before going to our daughters for the large family lunch.I have already set a romantic table for two as a special Thanksgiving to my Lord Jesus.

This apron belonged to my wonderful Mother in law.She  made it in the 50s.oh-oh, who doesn't iron before they post-guilty.

This apron was my aunts,her Mother made it for her years ago.My Aunt gave it to me because she knows I love lavender.It's one of my favorite things in my whole house.Thank you Auntie Jean.
