Before the decorating begins......

The new Christmas creation's began before Thanksgiving. I've been in a festive mood this Year for a long time,I'm not sure why,I'm not like this every Year.

My fave creations are always lavender in color.Before My Christmas gets in full swing.May I brag about family just a bit please.......

Our families Thanksgiving turned out wonderful. Cheryl, My oldest. Leanne My youngest in the back round.

I was blessed all day.Only the oldest Granddaughter was missing-out with Her fiance. Isn't that how it stats happening as they grow up?One by one,I just am enjoying it now.

smart, devoted family Man. So proud of Him.,,,,,

Daniel, truck driver,part time Minister.I honoured him in My last post.

Micheal,the business man,all who meet Him end up loving Him-no enemies ever.Just a great Man in all ways.All bosses promote Him  and honour Him.       Well thank You for any of You that sat though My bragging-I appreciate it.

Now I say....Let the fun begin!

One big Miracle :)

 One of My Dear Son In Laws posted this on His FB page today.His whole life now is a miracle.I was afraid for My daughter when She fell in love with Him.Now He's an usher in their church, teaches on some Wednesday family nights.Has spoken and preached on Sundays.Has a ministry for the down and out.Reaches out to those in prison.I want to thank God for giving Our Family this wonderful Man with His mischievous smile and His warm heart,and to think We were all afraid of Him and His wild past.I wasn't going to post  again until after Thanksgiving,but isn't this apart of- Thanksgiving.

 Thank You to all My new followers and to all My faithful followers.I appreciate all of You so much.I would have never guessed years ago that Our computer would be such a big part of My life and that I would be blogging and meeting so many ladies that I have  a lot in common with,"kindred Spirit's". I've said before that I have two  biological sisters that I love very much and the three of Us are very close,but they like different things than I do and their interests lie in other areas than Mine.My blogging friends and I do like so many of the same things,that's what makes blogging so much fun---You ladies.     :)

I don't usually pick up new Thanksgiving deco's but this Year I couldn't pass these beauties up from Pier One.Two cupcakes that had My name written all over them.

My daughter asked Me if I wanted an old messed up Halloween deco.piece of Hers, I took the tangled piece home remade it into this Thanksgiving wreath and gave it back to Her. I did keep and give Her the Halloween wooden Characters that went with the pumpkins so that way She can turn it back into Halloween later if She likes.By the way, did all of You see that right now Micheal's has all of their Christmas ribbon 70% Off. Oh My I did have fun yesterday in Michael's,it's truly so beautiful in there right now,I picked up four different ribbons-I do love ribbons .

I  thank The Lord Himself for all He has so generously given Me and forgiven Me of. He is so faithful to His word. I love Him and You too-Denise- Happy Thanksgiving !

Brown Transferware nice for Thanksgiving

I have a large collection of brown transferware.Like many of You, My collection started in the mid- seventies when Johnson Brothers Friendly Village was so popular.

 Later, I received My paternal Grandmothers Johnson Brothers British Castles set,a gigantic set. It grew from there.Any of the Brown Transferware looks best near Thanksgiving.I still love it and appreciate it. I have stopped using it though since My daughters took over the holidays. What I would LOVE is just one Lavender Transware plate though,those on the other hand are very difficult to find.I should really any time now start dividing it all up by 4s ( daughters). I keep putting it off because I'm almost positive it will end up in their garages,maybe for Years.

This time of Year I always start thinking about giving My collection to My daughters.What if they fight over who gets what or just sale it or throw it away.I know to many of You this must sound petty or immature but that's why I do avoid it. On a cheerier note......

I was 26 when I first saw a face that looks exactly like this one.That was 36 years ago.It's hard to believe for Me that I got to see this face once more.It's like being young all over again, looking into the baby face of this little sweetheart's Mommy, My daughter Annette.One blessing out of thousands
