Get ready to PARTY :)

Summer is upon us :)  and that means two  of My favorite events in blogland are almost hear.

The Mad Tea Party at  Fanciful Twist,and the Summer of Color at Twinkle Twinkle.Time for relaxing play. 

Get Your toys out.....paint,crayons,markers,pretty papers,tea pots /cups,and any pretty bangles and bobbles of tea time.While You sit in  Your patio watching the birds You too can plan Your art. The birds here sang all through the night last night,never stopped and are still singing.I think that's a sign summer is hear,isn't it?My little Hummingbird I did a year or two back was fun and full of color-Color of Summer. A charming morning with warm winds and Pier 1 fun.

The other day in Pier One I noticed cloth napkins that had been doubled up and put in napkin rings and to Me they looked like bouquets of flowers.So I picked out My pattern and color choices and here they are. I love them :)

I don't know why I've never tried  doubling them up before.You do need a wider napkin ring though.Maybe everyone's been doing this for Years-just not Me : /

Now for a morning sip......My newest coffee cup-thank you Avon ......

and across from Me as I sip I can see the face of My  husband and His sisters as children.Darling little boy,looks like several of His Grandchildren.

I've been in a lovely mood,savoring the charm of the weather. Rancho Cucamunga is up against the Mountains near a huge pass in which high winds blow from the desert often. I love it, (some don't).Some of You may know I live next to a golf course,the fairway creates even higher winds.The magic in the wind enchants Me,My husband listens to My frequent comments of how gorgeous the warm magical winds are.I don't know if He really gets what I'm babbling about,but My God hears Me and I know He enjoys My enjoyment.I wish I could express in words just how magical it feels and sounds.I never want to leave.I do know one SWEET blogger who can express similar experiences.You must visit Vanessa at Fanciful Twist ....and feel Her words. Mother's Day

Enjoy Your day,no matter how YOU decide to spend it.

 One thing I've never liked, once the girls were out on their own, is waiting around for them to call or make plans for Mothers Day.I have to change that,one of those bothersome bits about Myself I want to change.

As we all know, life changes, and one day does not make a year or a relationship. 

 So I must  not let bothersome bits about Myself overwhelm Me.Take life gently Denise.

Every day life

 I sit here in My office early this morning,seeped in thoughts of this day, My remaining life and the blessings of the past.Wondering what to post or even if I should continue blogging.My thoughts always lead to My family,My homes and all My blessings.The four daughters God entrusted to Me and now the wall in front of Me as I sit here, full of Grandchildren.All the ones who are still young fill My days babysitting.I pray God gives Paul and I the strength and enthusiasm to care for them as long as He wants Us to.

In these few quiet moments,I pray,He guides My daughters and blesses them as He did Me.I was able to stay home and raise My four.Some how their blessings are different than Mine. "Isn't that just odd." I always tell myself. I thought when I was a young Mother that their lives would be similar to mine.As I grew older I realized how wrong I was.Please Lord work out their lives to glorify You and give Me please Your vision of Paul's and My life in Our Senior years. Amen

 Yesterday,at My youngest,Leanne's home.

In just a few min. a tiny darling elf of a girl will show up for the day at My home.Thank You Lord for this life of Mine in My senior years.Please give Me Your vision of My life Dear Lord.
