These vintage pieces came from My side of the family.Since when they're placed together they have a masculine feel , I say this self is My husbands shelf. Aren't I generous?Don't answer please. I know it's the only real spot I have what I consider masculine. I'm guilty. There are truly a few other things in the house . If you would like to serve coffee or tea to a man ,the1920-30s coffee pot should do.The McCoy Indian sign pitcher is from the same time frame I believe. They both have family stories that go with them. My husband baby shoes,o.k., those are really His.
These were both reproductions. The brown tin is an old lunch pale I got at an antique shop.I knew it was a repo. I do keep Paul in mind when I shop sometimes :)
Now for our girly play time. This weeks page in My art journal is from Color Of Summer's prompt : Raspberry and cream with cashews ice cream -YUM,but all I could think of was how much My Mom loved that flavor,so this ones for you Mom.
