My sweet Mom used these only on holidays.On the back they just say, community.They are silver plated.They bring back wonderful memories.

I've been spending alot of time correcting my mistakes and figuring blog land out.It gets easier every day. A big thank you to those who have helped me.I  love my Mary Engelbreit lunch set I found at King Richards antiuqe Mall for $40.00 several years ago. I'm a big fan of hers.The flatware was my Moms from her wedding in 1949.Now, why is this set of photos blue?The lavender 1950s tablecloth is my all time favorite.   It was also from King Richards.

It's been fun learning

I'll soon be able to post more. I'm learning so much about blogging by reading all my blogs I have found by other lady's who love the same things I love.I have four daughters and  two sisters who I love very much and am blessed by .None of those beautiful ladys  love shabby chic,romantic fufu ,tea settings,lace,pixies, hobbits, Irish music,or any of the other things I love to think about and look at.I'm excited to find some kindred spirits out there .I still have alot more to learn  about this wonderful strange land of blogging.

Hello to my new friends, This is my first day blogging. I dont know quite how to begin.It's a beautiful fall day here in S. Ca.I love the fall and spring and winter too but summers are getting harder and harder for me the older I get. I love most things Irish, Esp. the whistle. I love books that take place in Ireland or England. I love pixies, fearies but mostly Hobbits,In fact I would love to live under a hill in a hobbit home in the forest.My favorite color is lavender. I'm a Christian,wife,mother and grandma of 8 so far.Well thats a good beginning I believe. Lets see if this works.
